Repco Bank set up by the Government of India is a fast growing organisation having branches in all the four southern states and Pondicherry. RHFL is a subsidiary of Repco Bank. Senior IAS Officers from Central and State Governments and Financial Experts are on the Board. The Salary structure of the bank is same as that of Nationalised banks. Repco Bank proposes to fill up vacancies through Bank’s selection process. Successful candidates in excess of requirement of Bank will be offered an appointment in RHFL.

1) NAME OF THE POST: OFFICERS (SCALE I)
Age limit: Minimum 21 years – Maximum 30 years

Relaxable upto 5 years for SC, ST and Repatriate candidates,
3 years for OBC candidates and
3 years for Ex- servicemen- Maximum age upto 35 years.
Candidates already working in a Scheduled Bank will be given age relaxation equal to their duration of service in the bank, but subject to a maximum of 3 years.

Reservation
i) Reservation for SC/ST/OBC are applicable as per Government guidelines
ii) 3% of posts are reserved for Persons with Disabilities in accordance with Section 33 of Persons with
Disabilities (equal opportunity in protection of Rights and Full Participation), Act 1995(i.e. VH 1%, HH 1% and OH 1%)

Emolument Per Month:
Post Scale of Pay Total emoluments Annual emoluments per month including on cost to company

Scale – I Officers Rs.14500 – Rs.25700 Rs. 24020/ – Rs.3.79 lac

Details of Selection
There will be a online written examination and candidates merit listed on the basis of the written examination and such number of candidates as required, which will be determined by the Bank will be called for the second stage namely Group Activities and a Personal interview. The details of the written examination will be indicated in the Brochure that will be sent to each candidate who has been admitted for the written examination.

Eligibility Criteria
A. Nationality:
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
B. Educational Qualification:
Degree/Post graduate degree from a recognised University with Minimum of 60% marks
C. Professional Knowledge:
Candidate should be familiar with computer and its usage.
D. Local Language Knowledge:
Candidates should be proficient with one of the local languages in South India where the bank has Branches.

Application Fee Including Postal Charges (Non-refundable)
For SC/ST / Repatriate candidates – Rs. 300/-
For all other candidates – Rs. 450/-
The application fee must be paid upfront by all applicants. It has to be paid by means of a Bank Pay Order or Bank Demand Draft issued by a Scheduled Bank payable at Chennai and should be drawn in favour of REPCO BANK RECRUITMENT CELL.
The applicant should write his / her name and address on the backside of the demand Draft / Pay Order. Application not accompanied by the Demand Draft / Bank Pay Order will not be considered.

2) NAME OF THE POST: JUNIOR ASSISTANT
Age limit: Minimum 21 years – Maximum 25 years

Relaxable upto 5 years for SC, ST and Repatriates, 3 years for OBC candidates and 3 years for Ex- servicemen- Maximum age upto 35 years.

Reservation

SELECTION PROCEDURE
Examination Centre and Date of Examination
a. The ON-LINE TEST will be held on a Sunday in July 2010 at the following centers depending upon adequate number of candidates . The date of exam shall be intimated in call letter. Depending upon the number of candidates, centers might be changed or deleted at the discretion of Management.
Chennai, Coimbatore, Trichy, Madurai, Vijayawada, Bangalore and Trivandrum.
b. Details regarding examination, venue and the time schedule will be given in the call letter.
c. Candidates will have to make their own arrangements for taking the Written Examination.
Note: (i) Request for change of Centre of Examination shall NOT be entertained.
(ii) Bank reserves the right to cancel any of the centres and/or add some other centres, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc. Bank also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any of the centres other than the one he/she has opted for.
(iii) A Call Letter will be issued by the last week of June 2010. The Date of Examination, venue, the time schedule etc will be put on the Bank’s Website as soon as these are finalized. Please visit the Repco Bank website for this purpose.

General Terms & Conditions
a. Candidates working in Govt./Semi-Govt./Public Undertaking should apply through proper channel.
b. SC and ST candidates should enclose attested copies of Caste Certificate issued by Competent Authority, i.e. Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahsildar. (Repatriates should enclose attested copies of proof.)

How to Apply
a. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility norms should submit their application in Bio – data form in English; typed on thick A4 size sheet, with one recent passport size photograph affixed on the application on the top right hand corner and indicating prominently in Bold letter the post for which he is applying at the Top. The format of the Application Form is available at Repco Bank Website.
b. The Bio – data should include 1. Name, 2. Address for communication, 3. Date of Birth, 4. Category whether SC / ST / OBC / Repatriate / others 5. Educational Qualifications with percentage of Marks obtained, 6. Name of the centre where he wants to take examination,7. Name of the post.
