Saudi forces free German girls kidnapped in Yemen

Riyadh, May 18 (DPA) Two German girls who were part of a group kidnapped in Yemen last year have been transferred to the Saudi authorities, a spokesperson for the Saudi interior ministry said Tuesday.

Venezuela to double gold production

Caracas, May 18 (IANS/EFE) Venezuela Monday announced that it will increase its annual gold production from the current 4.2 tonnes to 10 tonnes next year.
